History

The Galloway breed is one of the oldest cattle breeds originating in the Galloway region of southwest Scotland. The breed is know for its calm, inquisitive temperament, adaptability, hardiness and distinct cute fluffy appearance.

Traditional Galloways include black. dun and belted varieties. More recently Miniature White black point Galloways were developed within the breed. They were selectively bred for their gorgeous look and cute, desirable traits.
